No tearing up lawns or pavement when sewer lines are replaced. Trenchless sewer replacement is becoming the standard solution to accomplish sewer line replacement with as little disruption as possible. Contact us today for a free estimate.
The ability to replace buried sewer lines with minimal disturbance to the surface landscape is made possible by the use of a special drill that moves through the existing pipe, destroying it as it moves forward and clearing away any blockage. The old pipe is then replaced by pulling the new sewer pipe behind to replace the old line. This trenchless method allows the process to be completed with only an entrance and exit hole instead of having to dig up the entire sewer line and lay down a new one.
The new sewer line being installed is a far superior product than the old sewer line which is being replaced. The product used by Budget Sewer is seamless Polyethelyne. Due to its flexibility and lack of joints, it has a much longer life expectancy than many of the older sewer line materials which are being replaced.
This no-dig technology provides several benefits to the property owner:
Not having to tear up existing landscaping in order to remove and install a new sewer line is a huge advantage. No unsightly trench runs through your lawn during the process. There isn’t a big bill for landscape repair or a patch job across the lawn that is obvious for the rest of the summer.
Without the need to excavate a trench, the whole process is completely quickly and efficiently. Instead of digging and removing the existing pipe and then installing the new pipe, the entire process is completed at once. The replacement will cause very little disruption to the property owner.
All the time saved during trenchless sewer replacement means less man-hours for the job. The elimination of the typical large landscape repair bill is also a big money saver for the property owner.
The new sewer pipe being installed is seamless. No seams, means the sewer line is less susceptible to the encroachment of tree roots. The new sewer line installed can also be a wider diameter than the existing sewer line, improving the flow through the line.

Specially designed equipment is used to break up the damaged sewer line into small pieces. As this happens, a new pipe is pulled into place behind it.
Minimally invasive sewer line replacement reduces the risk of bringing potentially contaminated soil to the surface. Also, the work area is limited and no heavy machinery is used, further minimizing the environmental impact.
In many instances, it's possible to pull a larger pipe into the same spot previously occupied by the damaged pipe. This may be preferable if you need a sewer pipe with a larger capacity to handle wastewater removal.
In some cases, it makes sense to opt for replacement over sewer pipe line repair if you have older sewer pipes made from materials more susceptible to damage or ones no longer commonly used or recommended.
